I’m gonna take the rest of the week off
My email is hovering at about 300 open items. I’m WAY behind at work and doing my Channel 9 tasks. So, I’m going to spend the next few days doing that. I’ll see you this weekend from Mind Camp. Memeorandum is doing such a great job. I agree Loren, it blows away all others.
Plus, I’m off to spend some time with my sweetie, cause it’s our third anniversary today.
Oh, and Julie Leung, you gave me a good idea. We should make more extra small swag shirt sizes available. God, I hate shopping. Unless it’s for HDTVs! Heheh. Do you think Maryam would like one of those as her anniversary present? I don’t think so either.
Anyway, talk to you this weekend.

I would wait until Direct TV starts offering their new services thanks to using MP4, and the new LG recievers.
I’m glad Direct TV is taking the market by the balls and going: Look you wanted HDTV, well here is 500 channels… in HD!
This will make the lack of content argument a moot point.
I recently purchased a 67 inch Samsung DLP that does 1080p, yes that’s right 1080p, for less than 5K new. I love every second of it!
Have fun at Mind Camp, ask them all what they think about tagging and how future interfaces will be built on this concept of adding meta data to all your data.

I’d recommend an iMac G5.

Congrats on the anniversary!
I’ll see you at MindCamp, should be a good time :)
Stefan: That’s an excellent choice of display. Even though there’s no real 1080p signal standard, and no content (other than a PC) to push at that resolution, those are AMAZING displays. The improvement in contrast ratio alone versus the 720p models is worth it.
If only I’d waited. Oh well, my 61″ Samsung 720p DLP is still pretty damn nice :) All I need now is a version of Media Center supports HD (and I mean real HD, over cable, not this OTA junk). The sooner they get that out the better.

I really wish I could be living in that part of the US. This definitly sounds like an event that should happen more than one time a year.
As well as in various parts of the US!
Since this is the first one we will see how it goes.
Brandon: I sent you a message via the contact button on your blog.

Hi Robert! Hope you and Maryam have a wonderful anniversary week. Congratulations!
Yes, making more extra-small or small clothing items would be a great idea. Ted wanted one of the Longhorn RSS jackets offered at Gnomedex but when we went to get one, they didn’t have his size. So I have one!
What I should have mentioned in my post is that I now have a geek T-shirt collection too, thanks to all the L and XL ones he brings home. :-)
You and Ted should go shopping together - ha! I’m sure Maryam and I could find something to do. :-)
See you Saturday…

[...] Scoble makes some controversial points (I thought he was “taking the week off” until Mind Camp? LOL), although YPN in beta is something we’ve been testing and have been pretty happy with the payouts compared to Adsense. I don’t think Scoble knows anything about payout levels and comparative analysis between affiliate programs because he doesn’t use any of them. [...]
