No GYM #3: Helping bloggers to succeed: Performancing

Nick Wilson is writing a new blog for bloggers called “Performancing.” It caught my eye because it covers things bloggers are interested in like advertising and other techniques.

  • Where did you get the idea that all bloggers are interested in advertising and other techniques? Only that subset of bloggers that somewhat pretentiously call themselves the "blogosphere" are interested in stuff like that - I know I'm not.

    Interestingly, I find that the stories on tech.memeorandum also tend to target this somewhat restricted tech demographic; personally, I'd prefer to see more headlines there about pure science, research, and space efforts - I was incredibly disappointed to see that the DARPA Grand Challenge race never showed up there.

    When is memeorandum going to come out with truly personalized headlines, customized for each individual? (Actually, that sounds like Google's cup of tea.)
  • Bruce: I use Memeorandum as part of a larger news gathering technique. So, I didn't miss the DARPA Grand Challenge. I guess I should have linked to it.

    I don't know, but I've been asking for the same thing from Gabe (Memeorandum's founder).
