#38: Talking Technorati

by on November 16, 2005

I’m sitting here with David Sifry, founder, and Niall Kennedy, community manager, of Technorati. They just pushed out a major update. Much faster. Much much faster.

Blog claiming is much improved. Now you can search just specific blogs when you find them. And a lot more (they are documenting the changes over on the Technorati blog).

Niall is showing off a new Technorati gadget in the new Goowy desktop. That’s cool.

One push updates the world. Software as a Service.

  • Yes, but it would be nice if they would inform users that you cannot claim a blog if the URL is redirected. It took me over a year to get a response and that information, and it required an email directly to Dave Sifry. The information does not appear anywhere on the site.
