Cutter is hiking the South Beyond 6000

Cutter is writing about hiking the 40 peaks in the Southeast that are above 6,000 feet elevation. What’s interesting is he’s writing about his experiences with his new GPS and digital topo maps.

    I, along with Anne Lundblad and Jenny Anderson will be doing the South Beyond 6000 in June 09. What kind of GPS do you recommend? We want to be able to enter coordinates and need to have the longest battery life possible. Recommendation?
