Oh, I bet this one will be shut down by the lawyers within a week, but what the heck? Brian Sullivan sent me this in celebration of my visit to Ireland next week:

Heh.

  • Heh its a good site. I like the episode in Father Ted (which this is from by the way) where another older priest shows Father Ted around his home, they walk into one room and there are Nazi flags and altars and candles and eagles and Ted (not wishing to offend the old man) coughs and says "Funny how you get more right wing as you get older isnt it?" Classic comedy.

..and why are you certain that this site will be closed down >??
  • /pd: because it infringes on Google's Trademark and Trademarks must be defended otherwise the company that has them looses them.
  • It's been around for a few years and not been shut down yet. But as it's been mentioned here, then maybe that will trigger it?
  • Rachel: I hear a few people at Google read my blog, yes. :-)

Bobby, under US law, parody is fair use.

Don't know about Ireland but it would be supremely ironic for Google to try to quash a fair use (regardless of the country of origin) when they are using fair use as a basis for the book project.
