New RSS Bandit released

by on November 27, 2005

Dare Obasanjo announces that a sizeable new release of RSS Bandit is now available. I downloaded and installed this and it looks great. This is a free RSS News Aggregator and is my favorite of the free ones out there. His post explains what’s new, but I really like that it synchronizes to NewsGator now.

  • What do you use to read your RSS feeds? I've tried everything out there, love Feed Demon but still not having a few features I want (tagging).
  • I use NewsGator in Outlook. But I also use FeedDemon and now since RSS Bandit synchronizes I can use that too!

  • I can't live without Sage for Firefox.

I can't bring myself to use anything client-side anymore. My desktop and laptop have become dumb terminals to the network.

I've tried a few of the online aggregators (Bloglines, Newsgator, Bloxor) but at the end of the day I find plain old Netvibes to work the best for me.

Well, this shows you are running as full administrator on your machine. Shame on you.

Probably you should add this blog to the list of blogs to read:

As for me, RssBandit is DOA, it does not work for regular user even after installation by admin. Shame on developers - if all of them run as admins, it makes be doubt they care about security at all, and whether I should use their software.
