Windows Live adds support for Opera 9 Preview

Cool. That's good news Robert. I'm starting to like Opera as a browser compared with Firefox.

Haven't figured out why I'm liking Opera more though. I was using Firefox since the early days (0.5 onwards).

I think Opera, just seems much more "polished". And that's not saying Firefox sucks. Just complimenting Opera. Though I still use IE for most things. But as an alternate to IE, I do like Opera over the others.

Way to go Microsoft!

I have used FF and Opera extensively, but I always come back to IE? Why? Simplicity. I'm really looking forward to IE7 and all it offers.
I'm one of the few people who don't like Google. At all. I think what MS is bringing out is superior and I think that MSN Search is just as good or better. One of the things that bothers me about FF and Opera, as well as other browsers is how everything has to include something about Google. Not everyone uses Google or even appreciates Google. Their search is not all that. There is better out there. FF can be changed easily, but Opera has to have its .ini files altered and there is no real simple, elegant or even well documented way to add the various search engines.
Opera is OK, but trying to add everthing and the sink into a browser is just nuts. A browser should be just that -- a browser -- a way to view sites, read email and feeds.
It's just a matter of time before IE gains market share that has been lost to FF. Opera will always be a marginal player, much like Apple is. Take away iTunes and the iPod and Apple falls from the public awareness so fast it's not funny.

Um, they only validated against Opera on Windows, that's not terribly exciting.
