  1. Hey, maybe some day customers won’t need a “secret” or geek technology to acquire an Xbox 360. Maybe they won’t even have to stand in line all night at Best Buy.

  3. An easier way would be to use one of the trackers out there, which is already tracking these sites for you. Today, Wal-Mart, Sears, and Circuit City all had units in stock. I’ve heard from over 60 people today alone saying that had units shipped out in time for Christmast. They’ll be lot’s of happy kids on Sunday.

  5. Excuse my ignorance! I thought he was recommending using URLy on the retailer sites themselves — which would work — but would be more tedious. His solution works quite well, but only on static trackers.

  7. Oh brother, dog and pony tricks, with tons of hoops to jump thru just to even find a place that has them. Boy, Microsoft made Consumer Electronics history, worst Launch in a generation, easy. They sure can talk smack (Major Nelson in particular) but they can’t deliver.

Amazed at the mood change, it was RED HOT LAVA fire in the Mountian Dew era, now it’s but a lukewarm shrug, back to regular Xbox, all-a-wait for PS3/Rev. And I am predicting a bigger Halo drop-off, I mean only can carry that so far.

Although DOA4 kiosks, kicking up some dust, Kasumi jiggles to the rescue. At least with the delay, might mean no patches needed, which seems a heavy evil default for EA, Ubisoft and Activision (egads), 360 patch city. Itagaki may have had it right, but screwing up the Launch, ouch.

  9. Personally I too am waiting for the Revolution, similarly all of my PC gaming friends are doing the same thing.

We are all tired of this horrible upgrade cycle that’s becoming faster and faster every generation.

When having the best card meant you would be assured you had it for a year times were swell, then it got shortened to about 6 months, now it’s half of that, 3 god damn months and new generations are coming out. pure bullshit if you ask me.

the 360 isn’t helping me much at all, it’s the same thing the pc has been doing for years, except glorfied for the dumb. The PS3… deatils are too sparse to tell but the outcome looks grime.

The revolution on the other hand! When that controller was shown off at TGS 2005 there was a collective “what the fuck” shouted amongst the most hardcore of gamers baffled at this new, interesting looking device.

I’m looking forward to it, so is my former Battle Feild 2 clan, and everyone I associate with.
