Lunch with Hitachi’s CTO

Shel Israel and I are gonna have lunch today with Hitachi’s CTO, Hu Yoshida. He’s a blogger too. How did I learn this? Jeremiah Owyang recognized me in the street the other day. The blog is the best relationship building device I’ve ever seen. I love that his wife rolled her eyes too. Heh!

I hope you will share tidbits from your lunch discussion with Hu and rest of HDS team.

Anil: yeah, we talked about you, actually! Seriously, we talked about how to do blogging better. I found these two guys to be very interesting and I’ll bet they’ll be better bloggers in the future. We talked about why linking matters (it builds community, shows you’re listening, and rewards people for posting great stuff) how to handle crisis (post fast, acknowledge problems, link to as much info as you have) and other blogging tips.

I wonder how the Hitachi, Toshiba and Renesas and super chip fab process will impact him. Interesting times for Japan chippers.
