TailRank gets easier to read

by on January 11, 2006

TailRank is another site that tries to bring us interesting news from blogs and other places (competes with Digg and Memeorandum). They just did a pretty sizeable redesign and, boy, does it make a big difference!

  • Sweet. Thanks for the props. The cool thing is that he whole UI was done from feedback from our user base. Evolutionary design REALLY works it just takes a while.

That said, John Wehr helped a LOT as well. He came up with the updated UI and we collaborated over AIM with him giving me suggestions and I was reving the UI on my dev site at the same time. Pretty fun way to develop!

  • While you are at it, take a look at http://newzingo.com/ and http://techzingo.com/ tag coulds. It was written using Ruby On Rails, Google's APIs and the Yahoo! API

I really like Tailrank more and more.

Re techzingo and news tagging, I like TechTiki (http://www.atiki.com/tech) much more...
