Scoblr hatr thisr trendr (Grabbr shoots screens to Flickr)

by on February 5, 2006

I’ve seen several geek projects lately use the “r” naming that Flickr made popular and I don’t like it.
Anyway, grabbr is a utility to make it easier to capture screen shots and upload them to Flickr.

Yeah, I’m getting punchy. Looks like Pittsburgh is gonna roll over Seattle in the Superbowl.

  • Ouch. Seattle just intercepted and almost ran it back for a TD.
  • The pizza was tainted .. been in the bathroom since halftime...more updates!
  • RBA
Yeah, meaningful, complete domain names don't abound, and the 'r' thing seems like a fashionable resort (for now). I'm not very enthusiastic about it myself.

Maybe someone should really start a trend with a TLD other than com/net/org, so we all can grab cool domain names and start the whole thing again. Ditch the dot-com! :-)
  • w00t! Pittsburgh again... LOL Robert you're about to be parted with a case of wine.
  • Yeah, it looks that way!
  • Christopher Coulter
Wow, this is the perfect integrated, parallel and systematized, transitional, synchronized, time-phase balanced, Web 2.0 contingency flexible and realigned "end to end" digital-picture mobility management ecosystem.

PS - For the terminally humorless and sarcasm-deficient, it's a joke. I have no idea what that collection of stringed buzzwords mean, but, gosh sounds good, scary how easy it flows. Sorta like a walking talking Steve Gillmor. ;)
  • the worst is mix of "r" and double "o", isn't it "Scooblr"?
  • Joey
Steelrs ar gonna win the Suprbowl!
  • I noticed too, kind of gets annoying.
  • Good spot on Grabbr though, just what I'm looking for!

It's the logical conclusion after years of e-mail, e-learning, e-banking, e-ticketing, etc. Those letters don't go on trees ya know :) And Apple has hunted down all the available i's with iMac, iPhone, iSight, IBook,
  • What does this do that Cropper doesn't? http://blogs.geekdojo.net/brian/articles/Croppe...

Brian's has worked hard on that app and it's been posting to flickr for over a year.
  • Whoops! Typo! That should be "Brian has worked hard...". Typed that out a bit too quick!
  • Oh, well, you haven't even seen WANKR :)
