Anil has a post every blogger should read

I’ve been reading Anil Dash for years now and he has a post titled “Making things Meaningful” which made me realize why I was getting boring. I look back at the days when I only had a handful of readers and remember that it was easier to write back then. Knowing people are listening makes it harder to write.

Thanks Anil, and thanks to my mom, who taught me I was stuck in a rut. She popped my wheel out of that rut big time.

Its true the way we lose track of things in life and become more or less stagnant. Its so important to be proactive. It we desire a certain situation, we should work towards making it a reality.

I read Anil’s post the other day and meant to talk about it. Blogging has always been about making connections to me, whether it be with friends or with my mom (who reads my blog everyday). Even though I know that everyone I work with, hang out with, or am related to reads my blog I just write what I feel. I let it flow, because when it comes right down to it I am writing for an audience of one: me.
