by on July 11, 2006

James Governor got a cease and desist letter asking him to remove a link to Gartner’s Web site. If that’s true, how lame.

  • it's true - i'll ask him to publish the actual email.

When something sounds so stupid -

There is more to the story than this.

There isn't, there are just stupid people involved :D
  • OK kids, don't make me pull this internet over!
  • Maybe they should read a copy of your book and understand what is going on here. But I agree with met up to his last line, there may be more to the story than we know, sadly we will not know. If as he says there isn't well aren't they going to look bad. Maybe the person who sent the email should talk with the Analyst that covers blogging. If not maybe they can call Charlene over at the other Analyst company - LOL.
  • Hey, I posted the link. Let them C&D me - because I will definitely post it, and I would LOVE to see what legal legs they think they have here.
