The 9′ers loving Vista

I might have to take back what I said about Vista. Even more people are IM’ing me saying they love RC1 of Vista.

    I think Vista on the whole is going to be a great product and success apart from the intial delays. I rather wait and get a quality product. A lot of people are bashing it simply because its a Microsoft product.

    Generally Chris is right. But I’ll buy Windows Vista anyway. Just to play Ze Frank on my Xbox 360. Heheh.

    I know Chris continuously beats up the Windows team, especially over UI. But he’s right and someone needs to continue to bang the drum about it. Be heard above any of those pesky apologists. :)

    But there’s no way that Vista will get any major changes now. The drumbeat goes on for next version.

    Lettsee, after sending half the features down to the Deep South, never to return, and burping out this mess, it’s a randomized puzzle that doesn’t all fit together, there’s cheering from the entitlementish fan-boy crowd? Geee, imagine that.

    5600 is BSOD city, and GX2 and stock video driver problems galore, mobile device sync problems, amazing…really a sad testament, this late in the game. Better than Beta 2 at least, will say that much, but RC1 still feels so darned alpha’ish.

    i still havent gotten the DVD i requested at Microsoft.com for RC1. :( , i want to try it out, but downloading that big file over a crappy Road Runner connection and then using wireless 802.11.b would take days.
