Eddie Codel sent this one to me: Amanda Congdon across America. He said it wasn’t supposed to get out until Tuesday. Hmmm! Hey, Amanda, you are welcome to end up in Half Moon Bay at the Ritz! :-)

For the two people in the world who don’t know who Amanda is, she was the first host (and 49% owner) of Rocketboom.

    “for those two people in the world”???? Well, maybe your insulated little world. But I gotta believe any Neilsen poll or Q score would reveal that there are more people who have no friggin idea who the heck Amanda Congdon is, much less care, than those who do.

    Why is LayZ so bitter? Sounds like a fun trip with lots of possibilities. Really interested to see what happens, and quite sure Im not alone. Will be great to see Amanda again. Ive missed her.

    @14 I’m not bitter. Just bringing Scoble back to the real world. Seriously, no one outside of a small circle of the geek world knows who the hell she is, or even cares. While I’m sure you are not alone, you are likely sort of like 3 people sitting in a stadium that holds a half million people. A very very very small audience. So, Scoble is sheltered if he thinks a lot of people knows who she is. I’d be interested to see what sort of response a random man on the street question would elicit.

    And Scoble did hint at the fact she was about to get her “big break”. Is this it?
