  1. [...] Former Rocketboom host Amanda Congdon is moving to California and will be video blogging her cross-country roadtrip on AmandaAcrosssAmerica. She’ll be leaving on Tuesday and last night Blip.tv hosted a kickoff party for her at their New York headquarters. Robert Scoble wonders if this might be her next big project. [...]

  2. Amanda’s brains are far more interesting.

Being an RBM (red blooded male). Yes she is very attractive. Give her a break.

  4. “for those two people in the world”???? Well, maybe your insulated little world. But I gotta believe any Neilsen poll or Q score would reveal that there are more people who have no friggin idea who the heck Amanda Congdon is, much less care, than those who do.

Is this that big network gig you said she was rumored to be getting?

  6. [...] Amanda Congdon Across America! 17 September, 2006, 23h10 by / par brem It sounds like former Rocketboom internet show host Amanda Congdon is going to move to California after all. She has been rather secretive lately, hinting at a new big internet project. This new internet project might very well be about video blogging her cross-country roadtrip in a hybrid vehicle from Connecticut to Los Angeles. She has a test website called AmandaAcrosssAmerica. She’ll be leaving on tuesday and last night Blip.tv, the web video broadcaster, hosted a kickoff party for her at their New York headquarters. It will be good to be able to watch her again. À suivre. brem via Robert Scoble tags: amanda congdon, amandacongdon, amanda congdon acroos america, rocketboom, los angeles, new york, connecticut, california, californie, hybrid, hybrid vehicle, voiture hybride, environment, environnement, green, vert, vlog, vlogging, vlogue    [...]

  7. Who cares who the puppet is. It’s the hands up the puppets ass that matter.

Ford bailed on it’s hybrid promise.

  8. Why is LayZ so bitter? Sounds like a fun trip with lots of possibilities. Really interested to see what happens, and quite sure Im not alone. Will be great to see Amanda again. Ive missed her.

  10. @14 I’m not bitter. Just bringing Scoble back to the real world. Seriously, no one outside of a small circle of the geek world knows who the hell she is, or even cares. While I’m sure you are not alone, you are likely sort of like 3 people sitting in a stadium that holds a half million people. A very very very small audience. So, Scoble is sheltered if he thinks a lot of people knows who she is. I’d be interested to see what sort of response a random man on the street question would elicit.

And Scoble did hint at the fact she was about to get her “big break”. Is this it?

  12. >For the two people in the world who don’t know who Amanda is, she was the >first host (and 49% owner) of Rocketboom.

Oh ya, but world ends in Morgan Hill, right?
