It’s angry week

by on September 25, 2006

Mooommmmmmyyyyyy! Ze Frank used a bad word. Says it’s “angry week.”

Dang, someone made Ze mad. Oh, Ze, I’ve been doing that myself. I made the entire IT industry mad. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have called IT people who block Skype bad names. Bad, Scoble, bad!

That was a vicious flame by Ze, though. It took me back to my first flame war. Back on Prodigy. Who else was on that service back in the 1980s?

Don’t know what a flamewar is? Wikipedia has a whole entry on it. Is there anything Wikipedia doesn’t know about?

  • Ha ha! That's great. Ze gets my vote over Weenus.
  • I was rob@prodigy.net - a beta tester. True with eWorld as well (and who remembers THAT!? See, Apple CAN fail!

Ze was funny though - pissed or in his "happy place" he is always funny!

  • The guy he flamed posted a response video showing that he has a sense of humour about the whole thing. Video response here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJ2Sj6pFe1o

How about a box that can only be clicked once per IP address that indicates agree with post or do not agree with post(yes/no). Kinda like an instant survey. Wow, we could all get feedback from each reader. No need to loose spit in defense of our opinions.
4 out of 5 Dentists prefer Scoble.

I was on Prodigy in the early 90s. (It didn't go nationaly until 1990.) Good times...

"Is there anything Wikipedia doesn’t know about?"

    Accuracy?
  • Wikipedia doesn't know about Results Based Management. So I put it on the list of things someone needs to write an article about. It's a long list. It does have an article on accuracy though. (Is my dry sense of humour coming through here?)
