My favorite conferences: Northern Voice and LIFT

I was just reading feeds and saw that Northern Voice is on. This is one of those conferences that I’ll spend my own money to attend. It’s where I first saw video blogging. It’s where I met Kris Krug, who I’m hoping will take us on a cool photowalk. It’s where Julie Leung made me cry. Coming next February sometime. Please schedule it after February 11th, cause I’m going to LIFT 2007 in Switzerland.

Yes, my schedule is being booked for February already. Sigh.

  • Glad to hear you're going back as well. Last year was a wonderful event, was just catching up last night with a new friend I met there last year, and how that event and the experience has changed our lives in unexpected ways in the year since. There was something special about the particular mix of people, the ideas and the context last year. kudo's to you laurent and let's hope you and all can pull it off again.

    Northern Voice, a Southern Hemisphere dream. I went to Blogs'n'Dogs at The Banff Centre last year and met some of the people you're referring to. Very cool. Australia is now just thinking about looking at online communities in a meaningful way. Do you have any interesting and progressive links in this part of the world?
