New kind of video education system
I’m happy to have my former boss, Olivier Garbe, on my show todayy talking about what Winnov is doing. They used to do videocapture cards, but now they build systems to enable video education over the Internet. Really cool stuff.
Compare what you learn from this 38 minute long interview and demo of Winnov’s CBox to their Web site. Which one convinces you that this is an interesting product that your corporate training department or university should buy more? I go with the video. The demo starts about one quarter of the way in.
If I were a small business trying to sell a semi-complex product like this, I’d make sure I had a video like this up so that potential customers could actually see it.
And, yes, I’m sorry about the audio on my voice. I only had one microphone and still have a few interviews that were done with one microphone. Soon all my interviews will have two microphones so you can hear me just fine.

Thank you for this podcast. I second you on the fact that the video is better at selling the product than the website.

Yeah. All companies should get someone who is truly excited and deep in love with their service of product to record a short demo and put it up on You Tube.
