Why I love Maryam

Thanks to Thomas Hawk for making that image last week in Seattle.

Tomorrow is our fourth wedding anniversary.

How do you write a love note for someone as cool, as important, as interesting, as literate, as cuddly, as funny, as smart, as cute, as Maryam?

I can’t.

But she means the world to me. I don’t always demonstrate that. In fact, usually I’m a self-absorbed egotistical ahole with Maryam. It’s easy to take a giver for granted. And she gives and gives and I take and take.

Anyway, my life would be 1/10th 1/1000th as interesting without her.

She is, simply, the best. And that’s why I love her.

    Wishing you both a happy 4th anniversary. Ahhh…to remember back 27 years ago to that time in my life. You guys are still newlyweds. You both seem to be truly in love, which even though only 4 years of wedded bliss, in this day and age with over 50% of marriages ending in divorce and many of those in the 1st couple years, you are both blessed. Robert, women seem to need a bit more reinforcement than men do, so try to keep those thoughts shared with M as often as you can. I wish I had followed the same advise over the last couple decades myself.

    Ya’ll, spend 48 hours with the Scobles and see Maryam smile all the time and Robert’s puppy-dog eyes (yes, they are puppy-dog eyes!) follow her around the house.
