Windows Vista is done?
I’m hearing that Windows Vista left escrow yesterday, which means that it’s done and on its way to OEMs. I haven’t heard this from a Microsoft source, though. So, not completely sure it’s true.

I’m hearing that alien life forms have landed in Needles, CA. I haven’t heard this from NASA, or the US Air Force, so not completely sure it’s true.

Can’t wait to get my hands on the final bits. I’ve been loving RC2 and subsequent builds, but have been a bit worried about spending too much time configuring my PC when I’ll have to redo it as soon as it RTM’d.

Fantistic, I’ve been running RC1 and am pretty happy with it, I want the RTM version as soon as it’s available.

It now appears that Vista will RTM as early as Monday but hasn’t yet:

I’ve still seen nothing to counter that Office RTM’d on Friday.

Albert: not yet, but no denials either. Usually when you get it wrong about Microsoft people fly in to correct you from all corners.

Well, probably have to agree with Robert.
It seems like 6000.16386 done on Nov 6, 2006 can be final build for Vista. At least more likely this - unsure.
