That technology is just recycled from Presedia, which got picked up by Macromedia and rebranded as Breeze and then picked up by Adobe and rebranded as part of Acrobat. Articulate Presenter consistantly gets better marks, like last year at the Brandon Hall awards when Presenter took home the Gold and Breeze took the bronze. Not bad for a company that’s only been around a few years. That’s probably why Articulate is the 15th fastest growing company in the US according to Deliotte’s latest Fast 500 list. (http://www.prwebdirect.com/releases/2006/10/prweb452598.htm).

Yes, this is shameless self promotion, but if you want to see some awesome training tools, Articulate is where the action is.

  7. Jesse: I’m definitely interested and you demonstrate once again why having an audience is totally better than having a one-way half conversation.

I’ve attended a Connect powered presentation (for an Adobe beta… hoping I’m not breaching an NDA by saying that), and other than the kind of odd disconnect from having the presenter respond using voice to my questions/comments (in text form), it was pretty awesome.

The best part was the fact that you just browse to a URL, no pesky software downloads (though you may need a fairly recent Flash player, I have 9 already), no complicated configuration.
