Upcoming.org rocks for letting people know about events
I just love watching Upcoming.org. There are so many events to attend I can’t keep track of which ones are the best. Already 10 people are signed up for Photowalking on Sunday. I can’t wait!

Not only is the calendar management very efficient, but it aggregates flickr photos.
If you upload your photowalking pictures with the upcoming tag and the unique event number, they will auto aggregate.

It also supports microformats which I use. Two things it is missing is a link to as payment gateway such as paypal. For people who organise small events it would be great to have a way to take a payment in advance rather than handle cash at the door on the day.
Secondly I would like to see branded pages so that I could integrate my upcoming page into my blog much in the way that communnity.mybloglog.com is doing.
Lastly this is not a new feature but why doesn’t Yahoo Maps work with upcoming.org in the UK?

Hi Robert,
Is the NewsGator/BlogLines blogroll you link to on the right current? If not, could you post an up to date one, preferably in OPML format? Thanks!

I’ve found http://www.eventwax.com works perfect for that requirement.
