Loren: Linkbait is for losers

Loren, Loren, Loren. I put a damn softball over your home plate and you whiffed it. I expected so much more from you. While bloggers the world over are giddy with excitement over my coming demise all you can do is say that “Linkbait is for losers?” Damn, you’ve gotten soft ever since PodTech joined forces with you. Say it straight up. I can handle the harsh realities of life. I’m already lying under the bus. Drive, baby, drive! ;-)

I do have to admit I love it when you say “they have the player so they can fast forward.”

  • That is the truth the way I see it. You weren't linkbaiting you were pissed and real. Wrong? Maybe. But in any case you were truhful and passionate which is all I can ask of anyone. Yeah the videos are long, but that's how you want them, and it's your show.
  • Please stop whipping yourself Robert, you're starting to sound like a devout catholic at the Philippines' Easter Crucifixions. I attended one and it wasn't pleasant, some blood splattered and went in my eye. See what I mean?

    Personally, I saw nothing wrong with your original post except maybe it could have been phrased a bit better - so what. The idea behind it was solid, the people bashing you over it probably have nothing better to do with their self-centered lives. Rise above this lame "controversy that wasn't" and put it behind you - it's not worth it.
  • Count me in the group that doesn't understand what all the hubbub and mea culpas is about, but wishes it would stop.

    Loren, "it's your show"...I thought 'social media' (or whatever we're supposed/allowed to call it) was about "we" not "me"

    Please don't discourage paying attention to viewer/reader/listener feedback and adjusting accordingly!

    Social media is a joke. "We" is a bunch of "Me's". As soon as you worry about what your audience wants you are finished.
