Off to Germany and Switzerland

Maryam and I are bringing the ScobleShow on the road. Tomorrow morning we arrive in Frankfurt at about 10 a.m. then we’ll take a train to Basel, where we’ll hang out with my mom’s sister. On the 7th we’re taking the train to Geneva for LIFT on February 7-9. If you’d like to meet up, drop a line! I’m going to try to get as many geeks as possible on the ScobleShow. We come back on the 11th.

Obviously I can’t do my linkblog as often when I’m traveling and blogging will slow down too. But, on the other hand, I should be able to catch up with email. I’m up to a month behind there. Sigh.

Wow, Robert you’ll be passing almost past my door. I live near Mannheim - first stop from Frankfurt airport on the train to Basel. The weather is looking good quite sunny and 10 C - at least for this time of year. Have a nice time.

StuFF mc: I’ll try to get to it, sorry, I’m way behind. I can’t come to Cologne this time, unfortunately. Only Bassel and Geneva.

When in Basel, make sure you find the time to visit the Tinguely museum (http://www.tinguely.ch/en/index.html). There are plenty of other great things to see and encounter there (http://www.basel.ch). Your mom’s sister will probably be familiar with most of them. Have a great trip.

Mechanical train signs are a joy to watch. I have thought before about trying to build online interfaces to mimic that effect…
