Signs blog is boring: cute cat photos?
I used to say that among the top signs your tech blog is boring would be that you posted a cute cat photo. But, I’ve become a sucker for CuteOverload — a blog of totally cute things — and this little video of a cat being cute on piano made Maryam laugh this morning.
I try to protect you from such cute stuff on my link blog (which is how I found that video today), though, but once in a while I do post one of these Cute Overload things. Just to have some fun.
UPDATE: Gizmodo has some cute cat photos of cats playing video games. I guess cute cats are the theme today.

I am not a cat person. If they post pictures of a “cute” cats, if there is such a thing, only means cat people don’t have enough to do with their lives, which is about a third of America.

Adding cutesie stuff once in a while is neither boring nor uncool. Forget any detractors and naysayers. Cutsie stuff adds some lightheartedness to a too serious world.
I’m with you… seeing cute kittens and puppies is always fun and helps to lighten the mental load, if only for a moment.

Cute cat pictures are far more compelling than most tech blogs out there. Cute pictures are far from boring and people who think they are have deep-seated emotional problems. On this issue there can be no reasonable disagreement.
