Tolerant perhaps, but less likely to frame things in terms of actual data points, more likely to shrill scream, going profane and crude, as if that helps in getting the message across. Such is one reason why Air America is bankrupt and successful radio-show Conservatives are all over the dial. The loud, ice-pick, mean, name-calling, profanity-laced style found on the loony Left blogs, doesn’t play so well on TV and Radio.

Uneducated people curse far more than educated people.

Now, like most things, there are exceptions.

The working class is more likely to vote democrat. I never understood why. Democrats have for years promised to help the average worker, but all they do is raise taxes. Nothing ever gets done with that tax money that really ever directly benefits the average worker.

Republican is a more likely choice for the average worker, but they, too, screw over the little guy.

Leaves little doubt that we need something else besides the two parties we currently have.

The first two have been on television, especially piss. The point of the routine was part of Carlin’s long running diatribe against our fear of words. We take certain words, and try to have them banned. It’s gotten much worse. Now there are words that we shouldn’t use ANYWHERE. The most infamous?

THE N-WORD.

What the fuck? When did we allow fear to run our lives on this scale? That’s all this is, fear. Because look:

Nigger.

(looks around)..hmm. No one died. Building didn’t burn down. DIdn’t start a war. Privates didn’t explode.

But how can that be? I SAID THE N-WORD FOR GOD’S SAKE!!! SOMETHING BAD IS HAPPENING, RIGHT? SOMETHING BAD HAS TO HAPPEN, WE CAN’T EVEN SAY WORDS THAT SOUND LIKE THE N-WORD ANYMORE, THAT’S HOW EVIL THE N-WORD IS, RIGHT?

This is the stupidity that happens when we let fear run our lives. We get the N-word tripe. It’s not the word that causes the problem. It’s the people using it that do. But since changing our own stupid worldviews is hard, we just try to ban the word.

Funny. I work day and night (like now) with people with at least MAs or MEs, mostly from 10 ten schools, and I’ll hold an engineer here with a weird bug up against your saltiest Navy grunt for cursing.

Perhaps not oddly, we also don’t tend to mistake ‘conservative’ with ‘Republican’. Which is not to say I am a Democratic voter. I’m an intelligent voter who can tell an obviously bullshit argument about cursing frequency between apple and oranges from something “interesting”. The really funny part? This coming in a week which featured conservative favorite Ann Coulter calling a rival ‘faggot’ while endorsing their next candidate-candidate to roaring applause at a top Republican event.
