I’ve come around to Twitter. I think the more people post on Twitter, the more we’ll get more insightful blog posts. Twitter may actually be a good thing in helping us filter information.

Am I the only person on Planet Earth who just doesn’t ‘get’ Twitter? Am I missing something I haven’t yet seen or is it actually as pointless as it looks. Enlighten me please!!!

@ Tony C: I’m with you; I just don’t get it, & now Twittervision so we can actually see where all the ‘Twits’ are Twittering from! I’m willing to consider coming around if someone could point out even just a tiny usefulness for it all. The guys who put it all together are no slackers (they did Odeo & Blogger among others)so I’m thinking something more obvious is just around the corner (incidentally “Obvious” is the name of their parent company!) but I don’t see it yet.
@21 and @24…Yeah, I just don’t get it. I signed up just to see if I was missing something, nope. I then tried to explain it to my wife, who is blogging and has her Live Space as well as Yahoo! stuff, but she just looked at me like, huh? And then I felt stupid trying to explain what I thought it was. And how long before the twitter text shows up on a Google search and totally gums up any useful search. Ugh, sometimes the Internet pisses me off.
