Norouz (Iranian New Year) starts at 5 p.m. Pacific Time. Maryam and family are preparing a feast. Happy Norouz to all the Iranians reading my blog.

    Actually it’s quite refreshing to see that Norooz is being celebrated even in the tech world!! My fiance is persian and it’s fun to celebrate the new year.

    Thanks! Nevruz is celebrated by the turkish too. It’s an old Turkish event (passed by the asian tradition). And yes, it’s the new year. Nevruz is also celebrated by Kurdish people, Turkmens, other Turkish people in the Caucasian.
