Loren on “A list”
Posts “stop crying” along with this video.
One thing Loren. What I do isn’t work. I define work as putting a new roof on a building in Dallas in the summer. THAT is work!
Me? I just type fast (and often). :-)
Or, at least, I hit J, J, J, J, Shift-S fast and often (that’s how I read my feeds, for my link blog).

Very good point. We are so lucky to be able to do this for a living. So lucky. I’ve had those jobs, more than I care to remember, and I’m never going back. You are a class act all the way for pointing this fact out.

Loren sounds like a tool. Is this the “A” List for tools? I dont know even know who’s on the this “A” List!?! If it means I dont have to commute to work, how much do I pay to join the club?

Mark: that all depends on what “A” stands for. I know a few people who have me on their personal “A” lists. :-)

More than a few here!

I’m a leettle beet confused: Loren starts off by saying that the “alleged” A-list is BS, ‘there’s a list of one - you’.
Then at the end he says “whether or not you hate the A-list, or not, you need to respect them…” Eh?
I’m left feeling the same way I do after watching a time-travel movie…what if they met themselves…if they’ve changed the future, then…how could they…
Hey, Robert, Ask The Ninja what his opinion is on the “alleged A-list”. Then we can have some laughs. And not get left with the feeling that if I do subscribe to the notion of an A-list, I might be garroted in my sleep.

Rory: I’m scared of the Ninja. I hear they kill people. :-)

Hard work pays off. But Robert, I think you and I will agree the hardest working man at VON07 was Brogan. I think i might have come in a close second at least on the video side. I posted a show every day..TWICE tuesday. Arrington is half right about video. It’s hard especially when you’re a one-man-band!
I like Loren’s schtick..he usually nails it.

This was great. I was sitting around feeling sorry for myself, boring job, no challenges, etc. etc.
Then I watched this.
You know what? He’s right. If you want to change your life you have to do it yourself. And you can do it. It just take the guts to try.
Damn Scoble! You are on a roll this week!

God save our gracious Oligarchy.
Long live our noble hard-working deeds
Send us blue-bloods victorious
Blogs and Videos, laborious
O Technology, our Gods, arise,
Scatter the B-List and C-List enemies,
Smite them and make them fall.
Confound their democratic politics,
Frustrate their knavish talent.
Homage pay, they must.
God save our gracious Oligarchy.
