Upcoming.org updated
So, I’m about to leave for San Francisco to attend the Digg party and I just visited Upcoming.org (this is the best place I’ve found to find geek events around the world to attend). Sure enough the Digg party is on the home page. But what else is there? A new design. Pretty nice!
No, I’m not going to Twitter from the party. But I’m sure someone will. 600 geeks and freaks are expected to attend.

Robert says “Rocky- Want to go to a party tonight?
Roc says “Sure. Where and when?”
Robert: “Mezzanine, San Francisco. 9PM”
Roc: “See you there.”

So… what’s missing here?
Oh, it must be the line:
Robert: “Gotta register online to attend! Don’t forget!”

Rocman shows up but is DENIED entry.
Bad form, ya Digg?!!!

Add event doesn’t seem to work on upcoming.org - but other than that it looks great - I’m adding my friend’s EP launch right now! :-)

My bad - it works fine, just doesn’t give a warning when you leave out ZipCode…
Cool - nice one Scobleizer!

No big deal, Robert- I trucked off and caught some amazing blues at a couple of my old hangouts.
It was a fun evening just the same-

There should be a way to mashup Twitter updates with their corresponding Upcoming.org event. That’d be awesome.
