  1. I agree with ” I’m surprised more industry insiders don’t know about it or follow it”. I like TechMeme because it combines technology and business. It’s the first thing I look at every morning and I check it out a couple of times during the day. It replaced Digg Technology for me.

  3. Like Engadget’s Peter Rojas I watch TechMeme every day, it’s my start page. I’m surprised more industry insiders don’t know about it or follow it.

Because the “blogosphere” is an echo chamber, wherein you have one original story, and 40 other posts that do nothing but reiterate that one story. That’s not a great S/N ratio, and it’s been that way every time I look at Techmeme. That, and the layout makes my skin crawl.

  5. I bet you read more than 50 feeds focused on the tech industry. Even though I read 622 of the best tech feeds I still like TechMeme cause it often finds many I don’t catch. And even if there was 100% overlap I like knowing which ones are more popular.

That said, if you read my link blog you will see a lot of the same things.

  7. Is this your monthly/weekly TechMeme plug :-)
I’ve actually never found it informative. Every time I check TechMeme I’m lucky if there is even one story that hasn’t already come through my feeds or I haven’t seen somewhere in my general meanderings. I must just have a good feed mix. If I didn’t, maybe I would appreciate it more.

  9. TechMeme is great. I check it many times per day, and count on it to bring me both the breaking tech news and use it as a filter for “important” tech stories.
