Scott Guthrie runs a bunch of developer tools teams at Microsoft. Why is he cool? Well, head over to Eirepreneur for the details. This is an advertisement. One that we’re passing around. Red vs. Blue (machinima video based on Halo) is so fun.
They do these little commercials and it’s pretty lucrative too. If I remember right they did one for the PDC a few years back when I worked at Microsoft and Microsoft paid quite a bit for them to do it.

Fun stuff – RvB fits in well, for sure – and it’s always great when they have some featured guests.
Additionally, MS launched their VS site a week or so ago, using Machinima as part of the site’s allure:

[...] his blog, Scoble mentions why he thinks Scott Guthrie is cool. This Red Vs Blue video on Eireprenur is actually really good, funny and has the makings of a video [...]
glad you like the R vs. B approach. I cannot take the credit but someone on my team at MSFT built it, and got it out there

My Impression: Al Quaeda abducted Kevin Perera, and forced him to sink 8 levels of lameness and direct an unfunny halo video, in a cave. It’s honestly about that amusing.

Really happy everyone likes ScottGu in RvB (keep your eye out for more soon). To reiterate what Jerry wrote, Scott was a true gentlman with a terrific sense of humor and a ton of patience.

Chris. You are obviously too old and crusty to be in the target market then.
