No. They should probably remove all the stolen code first, then re-implement their functionality. Rather than continue to build on the borrowed code, then change it afterwards.

The more they develop on the stolen code the harder it'll be to undo it later.

They'll never be able to jump through the legal/lawyer hoops required for the users to sell the photos in a marketplace with the code as is. Without obviously fresh code, html markup, css, images etc, the main money making point of the site can never happen.</description>
