Talk about untruths...how about mass data corruption/deception and hiding critical information from the buying public? I am not talking about a simple gossip blog but several Bay Area MLS systems.

Home buyers in some Bay Area counties may be surprised to find out local Board of Realtors and Multiple Listing Services using Paragon software are actually removing data from the public portion of the MLS that helps borrowers purchase homes. I think the cartoon is, and this is only my personal opinion, trying to portray Mr. Coulter as somebody who could easily be mistaken for Satan, without doing so in an explicit, possibly liable manner.

As for the Trump thing. Over the years we have seen the Donald surface on a myriad of issues unrelated to his business in order to keep his public profile above water. So in the grand scheme of things, I think it does help.

We've only met a few times, you seem civil enough. ValleyWag reports some interesting things, but they'd rather make a big scene than actually be right about something.

@John -- I think it's a matter of intent.

As for not understanding the cartoon, I'm glad! It was created to be understood in context, as a complement to blog posts. That's where I think a lot of cartooning should move. That's one thing I'm working towards.

I've noticed that Technorati gives Valleywag more Authority then they deserve.
