Times releases list of best business blogs

Yesterday I started getting tons of traffic from the Times Online and here’s why — they released a list of the 50 best business blogs. Nice list, lots of blogs I don’t yet read.

  • http://www.daivddalka.com/createvalue David Dalka

Looks like it should have been titled “most overexposed”!!!

Overexposure is fine if the traffic is aimed your way! :-)

I’m curious what measurement they’re using for determining “best” in this case?

    1. Number of unique users?
    2. Hits or time reading?
    3. Linked or recommended?
    4. Quoted or shown as a resource?
    5. Breaking news? In-depth analysis?
    6. Considered “accurate” (whatever that means)
    7. Gets the most buzz and PR?

I’d question the list a bit, because from my definition of best (most meaningful to the target market, that engages and moves the needle) some of these are a little weak.

Dick: I think it’s just one author’s list. Nothing more.

I do not the measure of how they claim this blog is one of the best although if you look at technorati, google, or any comment about this guy and you will see he is one of the best.

    My sincerely congratulations.

Next year I hope some of the guys work as hard and as smart to be on top and do not complain.

Cant comment on most Robert but the telecoms sector choice were appalling
Charles Dunstone has written 1 post this year.
    ABI Research isn’t a blog.
    Ntl Hell is a forum.

Total and utter crap, where is Ken Camp, Jeff Pulver, Andy Abramson,Tom Evslin and loads of others.

@6 Most ALL the choices are appalling. Not sure what criteria the author used, but it certainly wasn’t quality of content.

I’m not even sure I’d count some of them as business blogs. Tescopoly is more a rant against Tesco’s than anything else.
