Diggnation is here, streaming live
We’re streaming live on Ustream.tv. Look at Zooomr.com/tv.
Diggnation just showed up too and so did Leah Culver, head geek behind Pownce which is the new Twitter competitor announced yesterday.
CNBC is going to put all of this on air at about 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time.

Good to see that Nick Denton paid you to wait in line for him; giving temp jobs to the unemployed is quite virtuous of him.

Robert, How are you sending live video to Zooomr?
June 28th, 2007 at 4:35 pm
It’s via uStream (ZooomrTV)

You were edited to about .5 seconds. Patrick had more air time and for good reason.
But luckily you were (coincidentally) standing within camera view behind the announcer.

Interesting, thanks.
Doug, yeah, we’re just using a MacBookPro and Ustream.tv.
I’m also putting vids up on Kyte.tv and PodTech.net is getting video too.

Scoble, tell OneThumb (Don) I said hi. We used to work in the same gaming scene in another lifetime.

The ultimate sign of my degradation: watching someone else wait in line for an iPhone.

Scoble,
I think you’re missing out; you should have your own reality TV show - ala EdTV. You and your son 24×7x365.
I feel like we’re hanging out in Half Moon Bay, even though I’m in Philadelphia tonight.
Enjoy!!

Watching live right now. Very Cool.

Just a note about the zoomr page: It loads a chat Java applet that requires “unrestricted access” to my computer, which seems unnecessary for just chatting, but what’s worse is it’s signed with an expired certificate, making it a little suspect. I’m sure it’s safe, but the expired cert should be replace, or better yet, the applet shouldn’t require special permissions.

Hey Scoble, I’m here too. Oh wait, no, I’m at the Apple Store downtown SF. The cool one. Yes, it’s way cooler than your guys’ Palo Alto one. :)
I take it from the blog silence your batteries died? I didn’t realize it was released at 6pm tomorrow until I arrived here and everyone told me. So lame. Can’t Apple at least run a big power snake out here for us?
