I’m testing out CoComment

Let’s test it out.

Amazing, isnt it?

We are all still looking for that one company that can centralise the management of signing up and handling our data across multiple blogs, social networks and communities. coComment comes along and tackles the problem from utterly the other end of the scale and now I can centralise my comments and ideas as I post them.

ive just added coComment to my new blog ( above ) and I have grabbed the plugin for firefox.

Its yet another feed to grab into my rss and I think grabbing yours and other comments on blogs is yet another thing to add to my google reader.

I’m using CoComment for a while now and I really enjoy it. I am sad when blogs I comment on don’t let you use it.

A great way to keep your comments and follow the articles you liked.

I signed in, too. I’m hardaway. But once again it crashed Firefox for me. And in Flock I’m signed in as beta tester. And I didn’t claim my link blog, for which I thank you for the reminder.

After reading through your ‘calcanis asks deep questions’ post, I came to your link to coComments, and headed right over to install it. It seems a bit hairy over there, but I’m really hoping that it flies.
I was going to post a link to your post today, and now I just did.
Discovering that one’s ‘comment & conversation following’ were an actual blog/location was something that makes me both optimistic and wary, because of the potential of just too much more clutter, but we won’t know until we try it. Let’s hope that clutter potential, if it takes off, is dealt with as well (if not as narrowly) as it is on Technorati.
I’ll also add here that it didn’t occur to me, until I saw your RSS link above, to add a feed address, even after I saw my coComment blog appear on Technorati. (My excuse is …that it was late at night.)

Thanks for the heads up. I have heard of coComment before but didn’t have enough information one way or the other.

After reading this post, I am giving coComment a try. I will track this post using the utility. My username is ThomasW.

It will be interesting to see how this tracks over the next couple of days.

After a little further investigation of Alexa I wrote Alexa, Valuable Tool or Technical Stalker?.

The privacy policy states that not only will it store and collect your browsing history, it will store and collect information that you are filling out in online forms, which could include credit card or private information.

I like the concept of Alexa, but I am glad that I did not install the program on my primary browser. In fact now I am unsure if I want to use it at all.

I will claim it being early, sorry about the post above concerning Alexa – for some reason I saw coComment and my brain read Alexa, even though I had commented on coComment earlier.

I tried this out for about a week and although I liked but it kept crashing Firefox so I removed it I haven’t had a chance to look into why that was happening.

After reading your article, I am definitely going to give CoComment a try.

I wanted to let you know that we recently did a major upgrade of coComment and migrated to V2 Beta of the product. This caused some unexpected glitches, which is probably what you experienced.
