Maryam’s been in labor since 9:30 p.m. last night. She’s doing great. I’m keeping everyone up to date over on my Twitter account.
Oh, and Maryam’s the best wife in the world. Bought me a Canon 5D last night a few hours before going into labor.
Other than Twitter postings, and hopefully a Flickr photo once our new son shows up, my posting level will probably be light for a while.

Congratulations! I don’t have a twitter account but I saw all of your stuff on your page. Nursing can be quite challenging…tell Maryam to breathe deeply and give it at least 6 to 8 weeks…that’s what I was told. If I hadn’t had someone tell me I might have given up but I figured I could do anything for 6 weeks…especially for my baby…and by then it was smooth sailing.
I’m sure you have a lot of support but if you ever wanted the opinion of a woman in a mixed-race marriage who has cut her entrepreneurial teeth in the high tech start up world, I’m more than happy to lend an ear.
Now the real fun begins!
