Many years ago in Ireland a friend of mine who was a cook was showing me how to make a rue sauce, flower, butter, salt, milk and water. He called the goop Google, should have registered a trademark…..

Scoble, I know you’re big into web services.
During my evening web surfing, I visited Channel 10, and found out that Microsoft just launched this thing called “Live Search 411″.
Here’s the MSDN blog:

Here’s the official site:

To my knowledge, it’s unique. Maybe you could do some interviews with the team?

it is best to use a video service that allows users to skip to the portion of the video they want to see.
It is inconsiderate to advertise a tiny portion of a long video - that mandates watching the entire video.
At the very least put up a transcript - not every one can take 46 minutes out of their busy day to concentrate on a video just to get one fact

Hasn’t this already been discussed to death before?

@searchengines: When the video displays, click pause and wait for the video to load (check progress bar). This takes maybe 3 or 4 minutes but takes much less time than watching the whole video. Then you can reposition the play spot on the time-line with your mouse just fine. I did it with this video actually.

Would some kind soul just comment on what Levoy says in the video regarding the name Google? I (and others who are having trouble watching the video) would much appreciate it.
