Not a fat nerdy guy tech show…

I love the new Mahalo Daily done by Veronica Belmont. Well, I like the trailer, at least. Oh, and yes, my show is long, boring, and I’m fat and nerdy compared to Veronica.

But at least I’ll have Newsgator on my show at midnight. Great consolation prize. :-)

Even better, my show got on the SXSW blog. How cool is THAT!?! Why? We give away Austin’s BBQ secrets. Now THAT should have been on Mahalo!

  1. Robert, your other disadvantage is: you don’t have boyfriend who is linking to Mahalo from his company publication (fake blog) and from his own blog – to generate buzz.

… and sincerely: this Veronica is nothing special.

  3. Hope Scoble is back at SXSW 2008.

Best bet on BBQ is to go outside Austin to:

    1) Kreuz Market in Lockhart
    2) Meyer’s or Crosstown in Elgin
    3) Buster’s (out in Bee Cave) Garlic H-Bomb sandwich is the best on the planet.
    4) House Park (open ltd. hrs, mainly lunch).

In Austin places cited Sam’s, Ruby’s, Salt Lick (orig. was out of town, but another was opened closer in), County Line are all very good.

Hard to go wrong with most any Central Texas BBQ joint.
