U2-3D rocks

Enough said. I saw the movie last night with the Kyte.tv team who are hard at work at a ton of new stuff for that video network. The movie is a great use of 3D and Imax technology. Make sure you see it at an Imax theater. If you don’t like U2 or Bono, though, stay home cause this is a 3D concert experience.

    Does Bono come close to the camera, close enough to feel like his neck is within reaching distance? It’s a shame it’s only light projection.. it would feel so good getting AT this bono fella. I can’t wait to see the man who along with Mr Geldof Made Poverty History! Yey!

    Well, this sounds fun. I don’t think it’s what the producers had in mind, but I can see a lot of people wanting to attend who might wish to asphyxiate this irritating 3D sprite (does he also wear his shoe lifts on stage?). Obviously, I’m not one of them; never let it be said that Bono did not end poverty. :D

    I like U2 and for me IMAX is the only reason going to watch something outside the comfort of my home. Do you see Hollywood switching to 3D, IMAX exclusively luring people back to theatres. I’m sure that small budget productions won’t be able to do that for a while (or never) and meybe they will only be able to distribute their content online.

    I haven’t seen U2 3D yet and I look forward to doing so. I’m obviously a fan however.

    I’m sure Bono “made poverty history” just like Al Gore invented the internet. At least he’s out there working at it.
