The Joy of Tech is hillarious…

They nailed me. Funny!

We see so much virtual violence and depictions of violent killings that we don’t even give it a second thought.

The sad thing about that comic is that – it is perceived as funny despite the obvious depiction of violent death that goes completely unnoticed.

It seems that almost everything nowadays involves homicide or mutilation to make even the slightest point or attempt at wit

@SearchEngines: Wow.. Way to bring the mood down. It’s a comic, not a real-life account.

    1. It was a comic
    2. It was a referance to a popular movie
    3. The violence in the movie was not over the top and important to the story

SearchEngines, let me be the first to assure you that no one was hurt in the making of this comic.

First of all, the Time Traveler’s SAWZALL brand tear gland harvester is set to Gentle, and would not have harmed Mr. Scoble in the least.

In addition, Nitrozac and I programed the Terminator to NOT kill. The Time Travelers were gently blown to sleep using compressed air and vanilla-scented popuri.

A sixth panel was sadly omitted due to a lack of space. In it, the T2 serves the Time Travelers breakfast in bed, and brings them their folded and pressed laundry so that they may begin their trip home feeling fresh and relaxed. :-)

Soooo funny! I was thinking of buying madescoblecry.com and having it redirect to wwtelescope.com.

But really, you could turn this into a new web site with a feed of “things so amazing, they’ll bring a tear to your eye.”

You could even post stuff that’s bad. I guess that would make you the new Iron Eyes Cody.

For some reason I was convinced you had seen some Desney Tan brain-computer interface stuff…
