Hello world from my iPhone

I am sitting at lunch sitting next to Adobe’s CTO typing to you from my iPhone with the just-released WordPress iPhone application. Very nice but I don’t see a way to read, review, moderate comments. That is the functionality I really need when I am mobile. I would also love to be able to post a picture and comment on it. Anyway, enjoying getting more of my life onto my mobile even if it shows how far we have to go. Kick me if I get too exuberant about iPhone apps, they are the fun “shiny object” of the moment.

Consider yourself kicked for exuberant/useless iphone apps post.

You’re sitting at lunch next to Adobe’s CTO and instead of giving us some scoop on other more pressing matters (flash on the fruit phone) you just commented on how lacking the blogging app is!?

I just read “Has/How/Why tech blogging has failed you” before reading this and I can’t stop but think “Here we go again witht he shiny things…”

    Keep up the good work.

  5. axemete: I’ve asked Kevin Lynch tons of times about Flash on iPhone. He always answers the same way “you’ve gotta ask Apple about that.” Not everytime you are sitting next to someone will you get an interesting scoop. Anyway, i’d rather talk to him about how publishing will change.

  7. Drew: my son has that and dozens of other games on his iPhone. Lots of fun.

  12. Now if they would only make the app store more sensible. Anyone else been having problems with it?

I havent tried any iPhone apps but I used to love the same thing about the old Palm Pilots and smart phones. Working off of the iPhone is horrible though. The keyboard is a joke. I cant imagine blogging off of this device. Downtown L.A. computer repair
