Geek and Poke pokes at me

by on December 16, 2008

Funny Geek and Poke comic today, in reaction to my post yesterday about real-time news.

  • this is funny !
  • I work with all geeks at a webhosting call center. They are my source for all info geeky.
  • Christopher Coulter
The circular circle, circled and squared. Fiction is self-perpetuating.
  • dantplayer
I think some of us are used to this kind of trading information. At least those web-savvy of us. To my mom...well, she isn't aware of it in the least.

    If only...
  • Ooops sorry to double comment but just as i published my last comment i thought of something else...

in the future, the so called "experts" will be the ones who read all the geeks and experts on tweeter, friendfeede,r and facebook, etc... and condense it for people to understand... come to think of it, that is what an expert is - Someone who is well versed who can make sense and a good opinion out of all the noise of knowledge...
  • Hahaha... really... that's how social media is.... gotta find someone to listen to amidst all the noise.
  • is this funny
  • I don't think that's funny. I've been living like that for several years:-) You are my filter.
  • I'm following YOU Robert :D
  • It can be fun tracking a lot of people but it is very hard to cope up with all the information. Sooner or later, you tend to scale down and start listening to the really good ones. I guess the other guy represents a lot of us who decide to follow a few (like you).
  • That's too funny. When I read your post yesterday my first thought was - that's why I read Scoble, so I don't have to read everyone. And I thought it again while I was going through your shared items in Google Reader. I really do appreciate you sharing all that you do, and it seems like a good time to say so. Have a great day!
  • That's what I would call "Social Media in Practice" :)
  • Gregg
    The other guy is Gillmor?
  • And finally I got my answer! :) Good work Robert!
  • Who are you listening? .. "YOU!!" What a good answer.. But its not quite good to listen to thousands of tweeple. :(
  • It's brilliant - influencers and influencees.
