I decided to work around this limitation by routing the FriendFeed search results feeds through my Google Reader account and adding that shared feed back into a room. It is just an experiment to amuse myself right now but I want to eventually enhance the room via the FF APIs when I find the time. The room's feed consist of the videos (youtube & vimeo) added to FriendFeed by the people I am subscribed to on FF along with the videos added by their friends. I am subscribing to all the people that subscribe to this room so if anyone wants their videos (and those of their friends) to show up there, simply add yourself to the room ... http://friendfeed.com/rooms/theater I was pleasantly surprised by the entertainment value of the room's clips. I like it a lot, it's really helping to simplify the way I scan over all the various streams of information coming in. I used imaginary friends to track this kind of stuff, after experimenting with a room at first.
