Robert, what are you talking about? The first HDTV that doesn’t suck?
You should hopefully know at least a little something about a technology before you declare that it “sucks,” shouldn’t you?
In many, if not most ways, DLP is better than flat-panel TVs, and offers a better picture and contrast ratio in many cases.

After going thru nearly ALL the announcement news, Year of the Netbook, and that’s about it, everything else seems gee-whiz or improvements upon things already done, or new backers, such as nividia’s newfound 3D glasses religion. Netbook is the overall theme.

PS – Ballmer’s “Windows 7 is almost done, it won’t suck this time, honest, we promise, we are still relevant” presentation was a trainwreck. More sales pitch over keynote, and shrill at that. As predicted.

I’ve got a 70+” DLP that’s a couple of years, and I can assure you that it does not “suck”. It may not be 1″ thick, and it may not have lasers/plasma/organicsurface, but it has a great picture that plays movies/games in HD. The world has more shades of quality than just “cool” and “suck”, y’know, and just because something is really, really cool doesn’t relegate everything else to suckiness.

Why do you email the photos to Friendfeed? Why don’t you email from your iPhone to Flickr and have Flickr sync with FriendFeed?
