Zoho looks to be the best SaaS collaboration suite available.
I looked over the market offering about 3 years ago and have been using it ever since. Their service so far has been better than I would've hoped for.
I believe they get the collaboration thing and the price is right, especially compared to those who are rather 'one-or two trick' SaaS providers.
  • I guess the coolest thing in the past year was Obama! :)
  • Clayton
    Linux
  • Surprised it wasn't mentioned more often, but Google Reader has been huge for me. But maybe that doesn't count as productivity, as I also might be wasting more time due to reading greater numbers of blogs on wider variety of subjects.
  • Digsby...by far, the best all-in-one IM, Social Networking, & Email tool out there.
  • Celio Redfly.
  • Unified communications is great for productivity. Combine IM, Email, calendars, contacts, PBX and real-time presence for SMBs - and make it free - and its even better. That's what Unison does. Check out the website here to find out who really likes (hint: models).
  • Ed Caldwell
Without a doubt the best for me has been OneNote 2007.
  • Dawson
Being a small businessman my biggest challenge was to adopt the best invoicing application that would cater to my invoicing needs. This need was fulfilled by http://www.invoicera.com/.
  • dannielo
If you'd like a tool for managing your time and projects, you can use this application inspired by David Allen's GTD:

    http://www.Gtdagenda.com

You can use it to manage and prioritize your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version is available too.

    think-cell. i make a lot of charts/graphs. [it makes charts/graphs - ppt add on]
  • Robert asks for productivity, not fun ;-)
Google, Google and Google (Calendar, Email, Docs, Reader) definitely. And not only for me, but together with my team.
  • For me it is my external hard drive, love to have all my pictures safe
  • I have to add that my second favorite is learning about Virtual Assistants (online resources for helping with tasks that can be delegated). I like virtual delegation..
  • NETBOOK! Mine is a a 10 inch netbook - It is the first time I feel that I have true mobile computing because I can stick it in my handbag and carry it around all day.
  • TJ Kirchner
iPhone, the Swiss Army Knife for Geeks :D
  • No more money into stocks.
On the savings account money actually makes more money. That's productive.
  • Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop
  • I use Tonido workspace. It is a personal information manager. works both offline and onlne.
  • For me it's a yellow legal pad and a pencil (cheap productivity tools).
  • Visiting Twitter and Friendfeed once a month, and Facebook once a day.
  • Outlook 2007
  • webecho
    Lightroom 2.xx

Processing, then keeping track of all my photos is a breeze with this and it's highly reccommended
  • Math education done right.

A month of personal tutoring for the price of one hour of a human's time.
  • Things.

    Both on Mac and iPhone
  • David Nichols
    IPhone
  • BEN
    MASTURBATION ABUNDANCE
  • Gary
The book Fit for Life! A true life changer. If you do not have your health then all the other things seem pointless. It has added a few more years on to my life so I can now enjoy all the new technological advancements in good health.
  • I'm a fan of Reqall and Jott. Great ways to make sure you grab that passing thought while driving or away from your paper or iPhone.

OH - and, the more important productivity tool: DOING A FULL WEEKLY REVIEW EVERY WEEK!!! (nothing beats usin' that great tool called your brain once a week to align, refresh and renegotiate all of your agreements with yourself.
  • Feedly, just discovered it but so far I love it. Okay, too new to be the best perhaps.
So, then I'll have to say TweetDeck...just wish it didn't cut me out of FriendFeed.
  • Oh god robert .. do we really need another Pirillo type post of endles Twitter captures to write a post around. I'm on the verge from unsubscribing from him again because of this type of mind numbing verbal polution.

Please stop doing this I beg of you for all that is holy.
  • MacBook, iPhone 3G, Things, TweetDeck, Tweetie, iWorks 09.
  • For me, it has to be the still very new offering from Google Labs: Multiple Inboxes. It's absolutely decimated the time I spend in Gmail.
  • iPhone
  • Webmaster Radio, Tweetdeck, Lynda.com --- hmmm, guess that's 3... and two aren't really tools.

    JS
  • Jason Preston
I definitely rely on omni focus for damn near everything
  • It's still just a long list of scraped code. How about some analytics? I know, I know... I'm greedy. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, they tell me. :)
  • Wow. But how? If the answers default to the featured (top) part of your blog - and I got here from your twitter bio link - this is really only applicable for single-use tests/queries - not direct dialogue.
