A better way to sell stuff on eBay or Amazon

My ex-wife is an eBay Power Seller. She sells jewelry among other things. But for the past year she has been complaining about eBay, because they have made life very difficult for sellers. I kept looking for an answer for her and I’ve found one with Vendio.

They help you build a store online on the web and then they push your items over to eBay and Amazon. This is a MUCH better approach long term for people who want to build permanent stores, like my ex-wife does.

This way you are in control, not Amazon or eBay. Here I meet with executive team at Vendio and get a demo of how it works.

very impressive judging from the video. Where do I find sample stores or people using the store? Can't find a link on their site.
  • Wow, this is a timely post. My wife was just asking me for this exact same advice last night. Thanks for sharing this resource!
  • Scoble,

Vendio actually acquired the store product from Andale, - Munjal Sha's first start up. Vendio is been around for a while. Great line of products and thousands of paying customers. They really miss the tech PR though.

Thanks Rob. I found that the other day when you twittered. A very timely post as I am seeking a thing like this desptately to save my time building one myself. Very impressed about their product. Their business model is way better and should suits me so well as a small business type.

I just hope they don't get much business PR. :)
  • Great questions in the interview. It was inspiring to hear that they've been working their way to this level of success for over a decade and that they're hard work is paying off.
  • Wow, great find with Vendio. I'm going to have to add that to my eBay guide.

Would she not be better off also building up her own website and on line store? I know ebay and amazon give an online consumer some reassurance but most consumers now just look for their SSL Certificates signs such as verisign for security or do vendio provide their own security packages?

I believe vendio use the security facilities of ebay, google, amazon and shopzilla or customers purchase through paypal so there is no need to supply your own SSL Certificates
