Foldera, 400,000 beta signups in 12 days?
Damn, that’s fast adoption. Foldera hasn’t been out a month and it’s seeing huge amounts of beta signups already, according to Shel Israel who knows the company founders. I’m getting a look at it on Friday.
And with that, I’m off to travel down to Silicon Valley for the two conferences. See ya there!

Introducing OPML 2.0
I know I’m late in linking this. I was in a plane today and then doing a ton of other things. But, Dave Winer released OPML 2.0 and that’s worth a mention here. Why? Cause of his track record of doing specs worthy of mentioning. SOAP, XML-RPC, RSS, and now OPML. Congrats Dave!
Congrats Ernie on new New Orleans law firm
Ernie the Attorney announced that he’s starting a new law firm in New Orleans. One of my favorite memories of New Orleans was seeing Buddy Guy with Ernie. He walked through the entire crowd while strumming furiously on his guitar (all wireless, of course) then walked up a set of stairs and sat right next to Ernie and me, all while continuing to play his guitar. Just a magical moment that I’ll never forget.
Here’s wishing Ernie all the luck (he’ll need it after the year that New Orleans has had). Congrats!
